Student Day Workshop

Friday, September 11 will be Student Day at the Heartland Book Festival and we anticipate hosting 700-900 students on this day.  Students will range from elementary school through high school.  The Heartland Book Festival Planning Team is seeking workshop leaders for middle and high school workshops.  Workshop leaders will conduct a forty-five-minute workshop four times throughout the day on September 11.  If you are interested in leading one of the middle or high school workshops, please provide a workshop proposal in the space below (limit 200 words).  The Heartland Book Festival can provide materials and supplies for student workshops, so please include any supply needs in your proposal.

Adult Workshop

At the Second Annual Heartland Book Festival on Saturday, September 12, we will feature workshops throughout the day for adult writers.  If you are interested in leading a work shop for adults on Saturday, September 12, please provide a workshop proposal.

Submission Verification

Submissions will be reviewed through April 1 to June 15 of 2020.  Invitations and rejections will be sent out by June 15, 2020.  Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions about this submission form or the Heartland Book Festival.
